Note: Upon uploading the manuscript file, the corresponding author must enter the complete details of all authors (first name, last name, academic rank, department, university, city, and country) in the Authors’ Information Table. The order of authors and the designation of the corresponding author must be identical in both the table and the final files, as author information for electronic publication is automatically extracted from this table.

If the author(s) wish to change the corresponding author or alter the order of authors, the relevant forms must be completed, uploaded to the system, and submitted to the journal’s executive manager for transmission to the Editor-in-Chief. Completion of these forms does not create any obligation on the part of the journal.

  1. Article Review and Publication Fees

The Journal of Structural Geology and Applied Tectonics welcomes high-quality submissions and does not charge any publication fees. The journal is published by Payame Noor University, and no fees are required for manuscript submission, peer review, acceptance, or publication.

  1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the journal’s electronic submission system at: https://sgat.journals.pnu.ac.ir/

  1. Conditions of Acceptance

Manuscripts must fall within the journal’s disciplinary scope, possess educational or research value, and represent the original scholarly work of the author(s).

Articles derived from students’ theses or dissertations may be published with the names of the supervisor, advisor(s), and student, subject to the supervisor’s approval; scientific responsibility rests with the supervisor.

Manuscripts must not have been published previously, be under review elsewhere, or be submitted simultaneously to another journal. Papers presented in abstract form at conferences or symposia may be submitted as full articles.

Translated articles from other languages are not eligible for publication.

The journal reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, abridge, or revise manuscripts. Submitted manuscripts will not be returned.

The corresponding author bears full scientific and legal responsibility for the content and opinions expressed; publication does not imply endorsement by the journal.
