[English]

The Chah Firoozeh copper deposit is located in the southern part of the Urumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc and within the Kerman copper metallogenic belt. Quartz monzonitic and quartz dioritic intrusive rocks with an age of 16.3 million years serve as the host bodies for mineralization, and younger dioritic dikes have been injected into them during later stages. The marginal volcanic rocks of this complex have a calc-alkaline, metaluminous composition with adakitic characteristics and were formed in the Neotethys subduction environment and at the convergent margin of the continent-ocean. The geological reserve of this deposit is estimated at over 450 million tons with an average grade of 0.35% copper. Hydrothermal alteration processes in this area have been very extensive and have produced potassic, phyllic, argillic, and propylitic zones in accordance with the Lowell-Guilbert model on the intrusive bodies and host rocks. Mineralization is observed in both hypogene and supergene forms; in the hypogene ore, chalcopyrite is formed along with pyrite and magnetite, particularly in the central part of the deposit. Stable isotope studies indicate that the origin of the fluids was a mixture of magmatic and meteoric waters, and the source of the copper element, consistent with the characteristics of similar porphyry deposits worldwide, indicates a crustal depth. Geochemical data have revealed copper-molybdenum anomalies over the central granitoid unit. Additionally, geophysical surveys using the IP and RS methods identify potential mineralized zones at depths of approximately 20 meters in the western part and 30 meters in the eastern part of the area. Finally, structural evidence indicates that the Chah Firoozeh Fault and its associated fracture system have played a highly effective role in directing hydrothermal fluids and concentrating mineralization in this deposit.
